Python Developer

Our client is seeking a motivated Python Developer with a hunger for learning and a solid foundation in Python programming. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team in West Chester, PA, contributing to the development of critical applications in a cloud environment.

• Solid python programming foundation - not necessarily a lengthy resume, but something solid to build upon
• AWS services, especially serverless (lambda, API gateway, eventbridge, secrets manager, RDS, SNS).  Again, not critical for a more junior but hungry resource, as long as they have basic system admin experience.  If they used GCP or Azure, that could work too, since a lot of it translates from one platform to the other.
• Sense of ownership, self-starter attitude, ability and willingness to learn quickly.
• Attention to detail, excellent communication skills.
• Desire to be involved in cutting-edge serverless/cloud infrastructure projects, providing significant visibility and exposure to crucial company operations.
• Application gets files from Bloomberg, would build a connector to an API to get it better, and fill out database tables (uses PostgresSQL as well as a database) Prefer Financial Services Industry
• Some ETL work would be relevant (transforming data from one state to another)
